PAGE CONSTRUCTION


Today the main task is page construction. Each RANGE page could concievably have a different menu dependent on the product. The difference being - we wouldn't want to offer a product range in the menu bar if the user was already at that product range page. So each range should have it's own menu. The best way to do this is to maintain the menu code in the database table of products, so when the webmerge script encounters the embedded field [WMField: MENUCODE] the code is automatically inserted at the placeholder in the template for that field, (being extracted from the product data table).
