Carr announces fare-free day on trains

NSW Premier Bob Carr has decided to announce a fare free day on Monday 22nd November. Now that is all fine well and good. I also agree with the approach by frustratedcommuter to take on the government over non delivery of service. Under the states own fair trading legislation it is totally misrepresentative to say here is a train ... it is going to Sutherland ... it will stop at St Peters and Kogarah etc .... but then it doesnt. It is also misrepresentative to say the train will depart at 6:05pm .... and it never does nor arrives at any point enroute on time.

The Premiers own words today were ... "But on Monday, I want no further inconvenience to commuters." .... so ... does that mean we're back to inconvenience on Tuesday ? Just another day on CityRail (CityFail)
