On November 15, 2004, NYC2012 submitted our Candidature File or "Bid Book" to the International Olympic Committee. Representing the culmination of ten years of planning, dedication and commitment to a shared dream for our city, New York has developed this innovative plan with the help of Olympic experts, urban planners, and Olympians and Paralympians from around the world.
