What a Week

This week has been the biggest week of news locally and abroad, I think I’ve seen since September 11.

Locally we’ve had a leader of a political party have to resign his position, and then under pressure from newspapers, attempt suicide.

Then of course …. Katrina. The hurricane has dominated news in Australia almost continuously since it first hit early in the week.

For clarity I shall post several entries separately over the next few days. The news has been so thick and fast that I haven’’t had time to blog let alone gather thoughts to try and post some coherent notes.
