Homes thought burnt as Vic fires spread
"Victorian firefighters are battling to control bushfires threatening property in several towns across the state.
The Country Fire Authority (CFS) says there are unconfirmed reports two homes have been destroyed at Bridgewater, near Bendigo.
Two sheds were lost when a fire front passed through the town of Tyrendarra in the state's south-west.
A fire that has burnt more than 900 hectares has reached the outskirts of Anakie."
