Olympic Drug Cheats

Olympic drug cheats have no place in our team. They have no place in Australian sport, no place in taxpayer funded sports programs, or should be given any corporate funds.

But they do get it.

If a person or persons are found to have used drugs in sport, then they not only should receive a life ban but also be made to pay back thier share of public and private funding. Ask yourself, have my earnings been used to fund a drug cheat ? You wouldn't give twenty bucks to a junkie would you ? (You know where it'll end up).

The people I feel sorry for are the team mates who may have to give up thier medals because one of thier team used drugs. I feel even more sorry for those trying to attend the Olympic Games, to achieve what they set out to do, and now probably having thier chances thrown in to total disarray because one of thier so called teammates is pumping themselves with "whacky juice".

Let this moment be a watershed for sport ... let the drug cheats be punished, be eliminated from the team forever, and let the real games begin.

Oh, and yes if Thorpe or Hackett or anyone else of that stature was to be found guilty (highly unlikey they have anything to do with the stuff) then let it apply to them too.
