Australian Election - an Historic Victory

Australia has voted. Australia has voted for Opposition leader, the Hon. Kevin Rudd M.P., to be the next Prime Minister. Australia has voted for Labor, and Australia has voted for totalitarian rule for the first time in it's history. An historic victory indeed.

Our country is now governed by a single political party, across every state and now in the federal government. God help Australia and our freedoms.

Never before has our country been subjected to such a singular set of ideals such as this. Never before has Australia and it's freedoms, (with the exception of WW2), been under such threat.

Evidence of this is in the spin speak of Mr Rudd during his victory speech last night, when he said, "I say to all those who voted for us today, that I will govern for all Australians." Is this "leader" already showing such arrogance as to assume that all Australian's voted for him ? He seems to think so already.

I have some sad and dire predictions for Australia over this next term of Federal Government.

1) The Australian economy's ability to keep creating jobs will suffer dramatic and irreversible losses, due to the return of socialist, union led rule.

2) Australia's currency will plummet through the floor so much so that our ability to keep a cap of fuel prices with a strong currency, will erode significantly, resulting in fuel prices in excess of $2.00 a litre. So much for "working families".

3) The unemployment rate will double. But that will be an acceptable level to the new government, because of our guaranteed return to a socialist welfare state, where apathy and non-effort is rewarded with endless and spiralling welfare payments.

4) Australia's sovereignty will be under significant threat, with the ability to protect our borders, destroyed by socialist, leftist policies.

5) Internationally Australia will be seen as weak, uncaring, and isolationist, following the imminent recall of our forces from Iraq who have made significant progress in assisting Iraq to change to a democracy.

6)Australia's foreign debit will escalate beyond control following the payment of hundreds of billions of dollars, to countries that have not signed the Kyoto Protocol on climate change, and are not bound by emissions targets. These countries include China, who share a one party state ideal, as it seems Australia does now. But at least Mr Rudd will be able to talk to the Chinese, in Mandarin, not English, so Australian's can't understand what he is saying.

7) The rights of Australian families to their properties, may become under threat when the new government apologies for past wrongs to Aborigines, and extends native title legislation.

But worse yet, Australia will return to the dim dark days of union led rule, with business and the economy held hostage to a front bench dominated by socialists.

You may well think not, that is your prerogative, but consider this. When was the last time you saw a bunch of blue collar workers (unionists if you will) get behind and back an academic ? Kevin Rudd is the leader for now. It is only a matter of time until the unionists heavy in on what's left of our democracy and demand the spoils of victory. Not a share of the pie but the entire pie.

I will go as far to say that the Prime Minister of Australia may not be Kevin Rudd, in a years time. The Prime Minister of Australia may well then be a radical socialist, union bred. And Female.

I predict that the next Prime Minister after Kevin Rudd will be Julia Gillard.

Finally I wish to offer my congratulations to the Rudd camp and the Labor central party on their victory. I wish them well. I ask that all clear minded and freedom loving Australian's pray for our country. We'll need all the help we can get.

Hi, I'm Senator Coburn, and I don't want your vote.

Must Read for Political Junkies...Coburn is a Republican, but don't hold that against him! Most in his own party can't stand him (He's the one who went after the "bridge to nowhere," etc). Regardless of your political view-point, this is a very interesting read, giving insight into the inner-working of the US Legislative system. It's an eye-opener!

Rep. Ackerman: 'A Platoon Of Lesbians’ Could ‘Chase Us Out Of Baghdad'

Yesterday, during hearings on the State Department’s 2008 budget, Rep. Gary Ackerman (D-NY) slammed the U.S. military’s ban on gay servicemembers, saying the Pentagon “seems more afraid of gay people than they are [of] terrorists,” and that if the terrorists were smart, “they’d get a platoon of lesbians to chase us out of Baghdad.”

Iemma cautious over new poll

NSW Premier Morris lemma is refusing to get carried away with
opinion polls suggesting Labor will easily win the March state
election. lemma needs a wake up. He cannot continue to be smug and think it's all in the bag. The people of NSW are more than angry Morris and it's you, and your team that have caused the problem. Did you really think that saying that a filtration system test failure on the new Lane Cove Tunnel, would be enough to convince us that the new road needs to be opened after the election, and not before ? The truth is, you're scared. Your scared that the incompetences of Ministers Scully, and Roosendal, will come to haunt you at the polling booth, if the road opens before the election.

Don't be scared Morris, it will anyway. People in NSW are sick of the way we've been treated. March 24th will prove that.

Debnam considers desalination plant

Debnam considers desalination plant "The NSW opposition says it has never tried to hide the fact it might consider building a desalination plant in southern Sydney if it wins the state election."

I have a problem with this. It's not that people may or may not be drinking de-salinated water, or may or may not be drinking recycled sewage, it's more about why not.

I think we should have not one single de-salination, or recycled water plant in this state. We should have dozens, all pumping water to the inland where we can once again reap huge benefits from our farms, and our land. There are billions of people wanting food in the vast sprawls of China, Africa and India, all we need is the foresight to water Australia and get cracking on a grand master plan for our nations agricultural wealth.
